Dodgy sponsors/Official Partners
In light of the furore around Socios= made me wonder whether our club is any better/worse than any other in its choice of partners and whether anyone uses them?

I have tried Betway however lost patience with the password or something and havent opened the app for years and its the same as everyone else- ie no "west ham " benefit

Sbobet were fucking useless and still owe me money

XL went bust

Basset & Gold are surely the next financial scam to crash and burn with dodgy unregulated deals

Who did I miss and does anyone else chose to use the brands our club has attached us to?

It could have been worse, Brighton’s NoBo was an absolute delight to behold

I must admit Basset Gold look suspect. I work in the financial markets and i wouldnt be surprised to see them turning out to be some spivvy scam in the future.

CWM were the FX partner of Chelsea until the SFO abseiled into their offices in the Heron Tower and arrested all the stake holders for running a ponzy scheme

I heard that in the time of Cearns & Brown, Ford were interested in sponsorship, until our dodgy duo asked what was in it for them...

I received an email on Monday from Betway informing me that I am no longer allowed to make use of their offers.

So they can fuck right off.

I'm sure Peter Storrie wanted Jiffy Condoms, could be a urban myth though.

He also pursued Nigerian Airlines, but that fell through as well. At the time leaving only two teams in world professional football without a shirt sponsor. West Ham because we could attract one and Barcelona because they didn't want one.

Betway are the worst betting company I've had the misfortune to use. Dishonesty bordering on illegality. A vile bunch who I hope go bust as soon as they stop giving us money.

Can't understand the fuss about Socios though. Just don't give them money and you still won't have a "say" in things you've never had a say in. I can't see it working myself.

IIRC, they just had a box at UP but the press ran with it.

And also IIRC, I think it was South African Airways ;)

Anyone noticed those bizarre Pepe Chicken shop adverts on Sky in the cricket World Cup?

Our lying good for nothing cunts will have them on the shirts next you watch.

Re: Dodgy sponsors/Official Partners
It pains me to know that my team is sponsored by bookmakers. It feels like the decline and fall of the Roman Empire - appealing to the masses in their self-destructive behaviour, while contributing a big fat zero to the common good.
